About Me
Hi there!
I’m Rachel Robertson, I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling and my C.C.C. designation with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I have the privilege of working with individuals 12 and up, as well as couples and families.
Creating a safe, non-judgmental space for my clients is my top priority. I know that starting therapy can be intimidating and so I work to create a space for you to feel comfortable showing up as your whole self, knowing you'll be seen and cared for.
I have experience supporting clients in a variety of areas including, anxiety, developmental and relational trauma, self-esteem and body image, life transitions, parenting, relationships, ADHD, and grief.
My Approach
I respect each person’s unique experiences and expertise on themselves, and work collaboratively to tailor the therapeutic process to fit individual needs and preferences.
My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing on techniques from Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy, among others.
